The Ultimate Home Fragrance Gift Guide – just in time for Christmas

If you want that perfect Christmas Gift, you have come to the right place.  This is our busiest time of year and there is a reason for that – home fragrance and bath products are just the best Christmas gift a person can get!

Buying for someone you don’t really know?

Many customers come by to the shop at Christmas and grab multiple random candles just so they have that spare gift sitting there.  If you choose from our most popular fragrances (in Red on our fragrance page), you cannot go wrong.  All our candles come beautifully gift boxed, all you need to do it wrap or pop in a gift bag. 

The other great gift for someone you don’t know that well are our reed diffusers.  Again, choose from our most popular fragrances and you can’t go wrong.  We have many customers who are buying for older relatives or people who are forgetful and they worry about them having a naked flame.  Reed diffusers are the perfect set and forget home fragrance gift.  All the instructions are on the back of our gorgeous Swik boxes as well, so a really easy gift to give.

Kids + Bath Bombs = happiest kid on earth!  There is something about the colours and smells that just catch kids with our bath bombs.  I can speak from personal experience (3 kids here 🙋🏻‍♀️), they can never have enough bath bombs.  My kids are the luckiest kids in the world, living in a house with a mum who makes bath bombs – they have them on tap.  We also sell bath bomb dust which is an awesome idea for kids who don’t have big or long baths – you can stretch it out a lot longer as it is not a one time use like a full bath bomb.

Need Something Small to add to a bigger gift… or maybe a stocking stuffer?

We have a stack of little products that are great to add to other gifts you may have already purchased.  Our Room Sprays are so popular, and at $13 or 2 for $22 – are that perfect little gift.  We also have these awesome fragrance bead bags at just $6 that will fit perfectly into the Christmas stocking (and make it smell divine in the process!).

Need Candles, but don’t want a big glass candle?  You have to try our travel tins.  They come in 3 sizes, but any of those sizes are still small enough to add to another gift or stuff in a stocking.  Our tin ‘packs’ also come in our Swik hessian sacks, so are also perfect on their own or for a teacher/coach gift.

Concerned about picking a fragrance?

It is always a difficult task picking a fragrance for someone else.  As a general rule, if you are buying for someone young – they generally like the sweet and fruity type fragrances.  Someone older usually goes against these sweet and fruity, and generally likes things like lemongrass & Persian lime, Sandalwood Vanilla or Hawaiian Honey Blossom.  These are HUGE generalisations though – we are aware of that, but in our many Christmas’s running our pop up shop and talking to customers, this is what we have found.

If all else fails and you are still unsure – you are best to pick our most popular fragrances.  We wrote a blog about our top 10 of 2020 fragrances - which seems like a while ago now (who could forget 2020!) - but the top fragrances have not really changed much. Generally though, if you stick to Japanese Honeysuckle, Vanilla Caramel, Black Raspberry & Vanilla or Champagne & Strawberries you should generally hit the mark.
